Eclipse Event a Roaring Success
The students and staff had a very successful and exciting day watching the historic total eclipse of the sun. There were activities in the morning. Each grade of the middle school and high school students designed a "station" to teach the K-5 students about eclipses. The elementary students moved from station to station between 10 a.m. and 11:15. Then they put on their glasses to watch the beginning of the eclipse before lunch.
After an indoor lunch and recess, all K-12 students returned the football field for the totality and end of the eclipse. As you can see from the following photo gallery, a good time was had by all.
Thank you to the teachers, and especially Loleta Connell for taking so many fun pictures of the event. To see the pictures go to: Arnold School Total Eclipse Pictures
