Morgan Challenge 2019

This year's Morgan Challenge was inspired by an old idea... the idea of "Would You Rather..."  In each of the choices involved in a 'would you rather' question usually means making a decision between two equally awful choices.  It is the comparison of two ideas that people can debate and would chose for different reasons.

Mr. Morgan gives the students the ultimate choice based.    Should he eat it, or wear it?  The highest Accelerated Reader point earner in each of the grades K-12 will get to choose one eat or wear it event.  In addition to that, four students from grades K-5, 6-8 and 9-12 who are the top point earners (and not already chosen by the grade level earnings) will choose another eat or wear it event.  That is a grand total of 25 gross challenges.

After announcing this challenge and only 3 days, the school-wide total is 394 out of 2,500 points needed.

  • K- 0 points
  • 1st - 9 points
  • 2nd - 0 points
  • 3red - 155 points (you have to love it when students discover the Hardy Boy series!)

We are hoping students will make individual goals to be selected to decide Mr. Morgan's fate. :-)

Once all classes are testing, I will update classroom leaders and top four weekly to be announced to students, faculty, and the public.
