The Arnold Chapter of the TeamMates Mentoring Program has been a part of our school and community since 2012. Students in Grades 5-12 self-nominate to be paired with a mentor from the community with similar interests. These matches meet one time per week, one hour at a time, through the school year.

On January 22nd, the Teammates Mentors will be honored at half time of the Girls Varsity basketball game. the girls varsity game will begin approximated at 6 p.m. in the Arnold High School Gym. Please come to honor our Teammates mentors and their dedication on this night.
The Arnold Chapter of the TeamMates Mentoring Program is currently in the process of recruiting new mentors for the self-nominated students in the 5th Grade Class. Our target is to recruit 11 new caring adults who desire to make a difference in the life of a student, one hour at a time. Elementary Special Education
Arnold Public Schools is hiring an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. This position will require the ability to design, implement, and direct programs and services deemed appropriate for students who are in need of specialized education services. This position will also require working closely with classroom teachers, ESU 10 staff members, and other professionals in the field to assist in delivering and coordinating services for students, and keep the program in compliance with state and federal regulations. Starting salary will be $36,720. Arnold Public Schools is seeking an interim superintendent. Position will be .60 FTE. Successful candidate will be a fully credentialed superintendent in the state of Nebraska. Arnold Public Schools is hiring a bookkeeper. The position will begin on May 1, 2019. Relevant experience includes budget, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, secretarial, insurance, and state and federal tax reporting. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Substitute Teachers (Continually Accepting Applications)
APS is adding substitute teachers to the sub list regularly. Successful subs will meet all certification requirements set by the Nebraska Department of Education. Compensation is $95/day. Inquire at the school during regular hours.
Bus Drivers (Continually Accepting Applications)
Arnold Public Schools has an opening for a bus route/activity driver. Successful candidates will complete state requirement for CDL with a School Bus License, and will need to complete Level I training for student pick up.
